MedLook On-Line - Short Evaluation available

Friday, October 30th, 2009

Six login accounts are currently available for your evaluation of MedLook On-Line.  These will only work from now through the weekend (and maybe not even that long).
This gives you a rough idea of how MedLook On-Line will work.
The Customer Launch Page (CLP) is your login/setup screen.  The two shown below are very generic for testing.  They will be customized upon purchase.  Each client has their own CLP.

To begin, go to either of the CLP’s below.  Initially you will need to run the Setup (in the lower right corner) on the computer you will be using for MedLook On-Line. This installs the Citrix client necessary to run MedLook remotely. Use any of the associated user names (user1@fagerman1.com, etc.).
CLP: http://fagerman1.wizmoworks.com:
User1@fagerman1.com
User2@fagerman1.com
User3@fagerman1.com
CLP: http://fagerman2.wizmoworks.com:
User1@fagerman2.com
User2@fagerman2.com
User3@fagerman2.com

The password is Winter09 for all accounts. Normally you would not publish this information.(Do not be alarmed by the evaluation notice for TriCerat when you login.  This will be removed upon activation.)Once you login simply click on the MedLook desktop icon.  Each login will start up where the last user left off.  If you are unable to login it could be because another user is currently using the account you have selected.  Try another one or change CLP’s and try again. If you are prompted for a user name and password in MedLook you should be able to use Administrator for the user name and password.  Please do not reset these.  If you are unable to login you will need to contact me so I can reset the passwords.

You will have access to all of your local data and two additional folders.  The P:\ drive is your Private data folder and only you can see this folder.  It is similar to your Documents folder on your local computer.  The S:\ folder is your Shared folder.  I have each login pointing to a “commonSample” database there.  So each login per client is setup by default to work in the shared database.  CLP1 cannot access or even see CLP2.

Remember, this is being offered for only $50/month/account (subject to change).  This is a fantastic offering.  You have 24×7x365 access, security, backups and no hassles with software installation or updates.  Your only performance limitation will be your internet speed.

I look forward to hearing from you.

What is Analyzer EXPRESS?

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

Analyzer EXPRESS interfaces with MedLook as a third-party application written by industry experts.

The Analyzer EXPRESS is the ultimate concept in claims scrubbing and recovery efforts from HMOs and Commercial carriers.

We would like to give an you online demo of the application. It takes just a few minutes. The Analyzer EXPRESS interfaces to MedLook and scrubs claims before submission to carriers.  The healthcare reform will impact physicians offices across the nation:

  • POSITIVE SIDE FOR PHYSICIANS: Insurance companies will have 30 million potential new customers, which means more patients for medical practices
  • NEGATIVE SIDE FOR PHYSICIANS: Insurance companies will have to accept subscribers with pre-existing conditions and a cap for deductibles which means that insurance companies will receive less – consequently physicians will receive less dollars, more UNDERPAYMENTS from HMOs and Commercial Carriers, more denials , more rejections – Somebody has to pay for the cuts!
  • NEGATIVE SIDE FOR PHYSICIANS: Medicare will enforce more guidelines, more denial and more rejections. Somebody has to pay for the cuts!

The RECOVERY MODULE has recovered in the last 3 years thousands of dollars in physicians practices  caused by UNDERPAYMENTS from HMOs IMAGINE what will happen when insurance carriers are forced to do what it was not imaginable. PHYSICIANS WILL FEEL THE IMPACT

The Analyzer EXPRESS is the perfect tool to

  • Scrub claims,  produce clean claims and eliminate denials and rejections
  • Recover UNDERPAYMENTS from HMOs and Commercial Plans and STOP the bleeding

AMBA Conference

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

The AMBA conference is now behind us.

The conference was well attended by attendees and exhibitors.  Once again we are glad we were allowed to participate.  We really enjoyed meeting new and old faces and look forward to some new clients and partners.

MedLook On-Line is almost ready.

We continue to polish the 835 auto posting program.

MedLook 4 gets ever closer to a release and continues to slip as we add more and more features.

In the near future, we will begin posting short videos of some of the features you can expect to see in MedLook 4.

Now is the time to send me any information you may have regarding new features, productivity enhancements, etc.

Analyzer EXPRESS - AMBA Conference Special

Tuesday, October 13th, 2009

In conjunction with www.AccuChecker.com we are glad to be able to offer an AMBA conference special for Analyzer EXPRESS.  During the conference Analyzer EXPRESS will be $699 (a $200 discount for the conference).

Analyzer EXPRESS will scrub, analyze, and accurately re-price your claims.  This means fewer rejections and potentially increased earnings.  Don’t be the victim of a payer shaving small amounts off from claims that you don’t readily detect.  Even a single dollar per claim can be thousands of dollars per year.

Microsoft has finally released what appears to be a very good anti-virus program.  This is great news in and of itself.  Even better though - it’s FREE!!

Check it out at http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/4419/microsoft-security-essentials-is-a-free-antivirus-utility-from-microsoft/.

Also, remember the AMBA conference is just around the corner.  We will be present and hope to see you there.
